These cover the website and the free tool on it. Project work is governed by whatever is written in the proposal you sign, and that document wins over anything on this page.

01 / The free audit

Tool

The audit reports what Google’s PageSpeed Insights returns for the address you give it. It is a measurement, not advice, and it is not a guarantee about anything.
Two runs minutes apart can differ by several points. Lighthouse runs on shared infrastructure against a simulated device. Treat a single score as a range.
Measure addresses you own or have permission to measure. It only ever loads a page the way any visitor would, but that is your call to make, not this site’s.
Use is limited to three runs an hour per visitor, with a check after that. The limit exists to protect a shared quota and can change without notice.
The tool depends on a third-party API. It can be unavailable, rate limited, or withdrawn, and this site does not promise it will keep working.

Content

The words, design and code of this site belong to Aftermath Technologies LLC. Read it, quote it, link to it. Do not republish it as your own.
The project write-ups describe real work. The figures belong to those specific sites and are not a forecast of what yours will do.
Nothing here is a price. Ranges discussed in an enquiry are estimates until they are written into a proposal.
Statements about timelines describe how projects usually run. They are not commitments until a proposal says so.

03 / Enquiries and project work

Work

Sending an enquiry does not create a contract and does not reserve time. Work starts when a proposal is agreed in writing.
Do not send anything confidential through the forms on this site. Passwords and access credentials in particular should never arrive by email, and you will never be asked for them that way.
Every proposal states what is delivered, what it costs, and what the client provides. If something is not written in it, it is not in scope.
You own the work at the end of it: the code, the content, the hosting account and the domain. Nothing is retained as leverage.

04 / The usual disclaimer

Liability

This site and the tool on it are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind. Aftermath Technologies LLC is not liable for any loss arising from use of this site or reliance on a score it reports. Liability under a signed proposal is limited to what that proposal says, and this paragraph does not change it.
